• Deliver a plan of action to work with the AONB’s Management Plan
• Devise an Interpretation Strategy to manage visitors throughout the forest
• Encourage sustainable tourism while including local and recreational users

Our Solutions:

• A visitor management scheme that brings tourists to the Forest Centre as a ‘gateway’ for other activities
• A coordinated approach to the interpretation of the area through simple ‘tiered’ messages which can be developed for the future
• Recommended investment in sustainable media and activities which are low key, but help to increase people’s understanding and enjoyment of the outstanding heath and ‘birthplace’ of A A Milne's Winnie the Pooh.
