The Brief:

• The only surviving example in Europe of a medieval merchant’s hall built for an individual trader
• Part of a major HLF funded restoration project for this magnificent Grade I Listed building        
• Need to communicate the complex development of the building and its central role in the context of medieval Norwich

• Audio tour provides a guided element, without detracting from the visual beauty of the structure
• Costumed role-play, tactile and interactive displays to achieve flexibility and appeal to a wide audience, particularly families and school groups
• We interpreted the building’s fascinating and varied history through its key inhabitants over 1000 years
