Lady Lever Art Gallery - Exhibition Design
For National Museums Liverpool
Current Project:
We are working with National Museums Liverpool on the detail design stage of an iconic new introductory gallery for the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight Village, Merseyside, having successfully completed the interpretive planning phase.
The new gallery, ‘Lever as Collector’, will set the benchmark for future standards of quality presentation at the gallery.
Lever believed that art could inspire everyone and indeed helped to popularise classical artworks through his novel marketing of ‘Sunlight Soap’. He was a passionate and prolific collector of paintings and ethnographic items throughout the late Victorian era to early 20th Century. We are currently working closely with the gallery team to select an iconic range of pieces from his vast collection that typify the passions, ethos and work of the famous Victorian entrepreneur and philanthropist, William Lever.
