Quality Assured from PLB – we’ve been awarded the new ISO 9001 accreditation

We recently achieved the transition from 9001:2008 to 9001:2015 meeting the requirements of this prestigious quality standard, under the supervision of Rachel Barbi, PLB Office Manager. The accreditation included a complete overhaul of our Quality Management Handbook to meet the new principles of:

  • QMP 1 – Customer focus
  • QMP 2 – Leadership
  • QMP 3 – Engagement of people
  • QMP 4 – Process approach
  • QMP 5 – Improvement
  • QMP 6 – Evidence-based decision making
  • QMP 7 – Relationship management

Having first achieved accreditation in February 2006, our Quality Management Handbook has been honed year-on-year to ensure that our products and services consistently meet our customer’s and their visitor requirements. All PLB employees are trained in what ISO 9001 means to our sector and how to apply it consistently. PLB’s Quality Management Handbook identifies all of our systems, policies and procedures and the organisation is audited every year.
