
Gordon Meredith HND Design Manager and Senior Consultant
Gordon is responsible for managing PLB's creative team, as well as working on design and consultancy projects at the strategic and concept development stages.
With over twenty years experience across a range of disciplines and activities from site master planning to supervision of contractors on site. Gordon has practical knowledge in bringing successful projects from concept to completion. Hs experience includes master planning, interpretive planning, concept and detailed design, project management, cost control and site supervision. This has been applied across a wide range of projects for museums, historic houses and landscapes, public realm, visitor attractions and waterways in the UK and Europe. Gordon's broad skill base also includes experience of undertaking research, copy writing and script writing, community consultations and oral history interviews. His designs are based on a sound understanding of access and audience development issues and have been instrumental in securing a number of awards, including; 'Best Industrial Museum of the Year', 'Blue Peter Children's Museum of the Year', 'Yorkshire Museum of the Year', an Interpret Britain award and a commendation from the British Urban Regeneration Association.
