
Sarah Oswald MA (Hons) PGDip AMA MAHI Projects Director
Sarah is an experienced heritage professional who contributes her considerable analytical and creative skills to PLB’s range of projects, from feasibility studies to exhibitions. She has a particular interest in access and audience development and in the promotion of good interpretive practice. Prior to joining PLB, Sarah had practical experience in delivering a local authority heritage service, providing outreach and community development. She also brings her experience and insight into museological issues to our projects, achieving her AMA in 2006, through the Continuing Professional Development Programme with the Museums Association. A former committee member and Events Coordinator of AHI, Sarah is now a committee member with the Yorkshire Federation of Museums and Galleries. She holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Delivering Adult Learning, enhancing her experience and interest in life-long learning through heritage. She has taught MA students at York and provided training internally at PLB and to external organisations.
